How much extra space do I have in the pack? Is there room for anything else?

The personal bag was specifically designed so that you can add important things, like your prescription drugs and eyeglasses. There is room for important papers and documents and limited space for other items as well.

Can I keep a kit in my car? Where else might I need a Ready Freddy™?

We think that it is crucial to have a Ready Freddy™ in your car in case of an emergency. Everything in the kit will withstand the temperatures that a car can reach under normal circumstances. Other places it might be important to have a Ready Freddy™ include: at work, on your boat, or in your camper/RV. If you have children away at school, or elderly parents in homes of their own, it may be a good idea for them to have a Ready Freddy as well.

Does anything in the Ready Freddy™ have a shelf life?

Yes. The food, water and some items in the first aid kit have a five (5) year shelf life. Your Ready Freddy™ should be periodically checked to make sure that it is up to date.

How long can I live off of the food and water supplied in the Ready Freddy™?

There is enough food and water included in the Ready Freddy™ Kit for one (1) person, for three (3) days. Or three (3) people, for one (1) day.

No problem! We sell the food and water packs separately so that you can customize your Ready Freddy to suit your family's needs.

Are there any peanuts or other common allergens in the food bar?

There are no peanuts or tree nuts in our Mainstay food packs. This is the only food product that the plant produces so there are no traces of nuts either. It does not contain any dairy, but it is a wheat based product and does contain soybean oil, and corn derivatives.

How will the Ready Freddy™ cell phone charger work with my cell phone?

The cell phone charger comes with a variety of adaptors that fit most major cell phone models. We periodically update the adaptors in order to stay current with the latest models.
